The Restaurant

restaurant106Tannie Evita was known as the best cook in the old National Party; die beste kok in die ou Nasionale Party, and she has now moved on to cook for the ANC in Luthuli House.

Her two cookbooks, Evita’s Kossie Sikelela and Evita’s Bossie Sikelela, are available at the Perron bookstall in the A en C (Arts and Crafts) shop. Naturally, Evita=s iconic bobotie and legendary koeksisters are available at the Perron café, as well as many other delights, all out of Evita’s kitchen.

So book to see a show and add lunch to your treat. Bambi’s Berlin Bar (named after Evita’s sister Bambi Kellermann, much to Tannie’s disgust) will supply you with the best in local wines and beers.

The full Perron menu can be found here. (Please note that due to the immense strain on the kitchen, the full Perron menu is not available during shows, click here to view the menu available for a show)
